 All resin with great details, from the busy chef’s smiling face( he looks like a thin Oliver Hardy) to his billowing apron. Stands 7 3/4″ H x 2 3/4″ W at broadest point.

Some light shelf dust;never used, with barcode affixed to base. Marked:

DECORATIVE CHEESE BOARD PLAQUE

GOOD CONDITION

 Cheese board/paddle-shaped black wood plaque with 1/2″ round hanging hole incorporated–with rawhide knotted cord run through that provides a 6 1/2″ drop on this 15 7/8″ x 4 3/4″ decorative piece.

Some light scuff here and there on the edges and in one reverse area, but overall black matte finish is in good condition; center graphics are on tile, done in mainly earthtones. They show wine bottles in background and a well-fed chef in predominantly white with black slacks and red accent scarf.

He holds a bottle of vino in one hand and inspects a glass of wine with the other. A corkscrew peeks from his front apron pocket.

Graphics are in excellent condition.

No maker marks; a sticker affixed to reverse reads:

RETRO WOOD PLUMP CHEF BURGER PRESS

Likely from the 1950’s, structurally in good condition with no gouging/splits to the wood; handpainted black and white plump chef profile with blue-grey outline accents. In need of a gentle cleaning;interior brass hinge intact but a little loose.

Measures 5 5/8″ in diameter x about 1″ H; hanging hole incorporated reverse and piece has partial JAPAN stamp, bottom reverse.
